And so we come to the end of this path.
But there are many paths.
Brian Eno said of the Velvet Underground that their first album didn’t sell a lot of copies, but everyone who bought one went out and started a band, and it would be wonderful if Liminality’s legacy was similar. Everyone who’s written about feeling the loss of a magazine like Liminality… know that you can create a magazine of your own if you want to. There can be dozens. There’s enough amazing poetry out there to support a whole ecosystem.
It’s time for me to pass the torch. But don’t worry – I brought enough torches for everyone. There are a lot of potential beginnings unspooling from this end.
But for now, walk with me to the end of this path.
Thank you for reading. It’s been a magical seven years.
